As believers, we have an incredible opportunity to join God's story of redeeming the world. The Holy Spirit is preparing hearts and readying the harvest and we are ready to step out in faith where God leads. During 2012, FBC currently has trips planned to the Dominican Republic and to Kenya.The teams are in the process of being formed and finalized but you can be involved through prayer and giving financial support. Dominican Republic
May 28 through June 7
Josh Hargett, Minister to Students and Education, will be leading a team to minister in the Dominican Republic.

Kenya
June 18 through July 2
Tanya Conlay, Director of Missions and Administration at FBC, will be leading a team to Kenya to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The needs are huge in Kenya--in all of Africa--but especially in Kenya right now with the drought and famine they have been experiencing. There are several needs the Kenyans we work with have identified and we are currently gathering information about how we can come alongside the Kenyan nationals. Please pray with us that the hearts of those we will be sharing the Gospel with will be softened and ready to accept the love Christ has for them. Pray for our preparations, that we will be directed to the ministry opportunities that will be most fruitful for the Kingdom of God and pray also for the team members who will be working and their families who will be left at home.
